Shane & Kim are hopeful adoptive parents from South Carolina waiting to adopt a baby. Our lives have always been centered around having children, and we are excited and dedicated to preparing a loving home and future for our child, and hopefully eventually children. After undergoing four years of numerous unsuccessful fertility treatments, we have decided that we would love to adopt a child and raise them as our own. We can only imagine how difficult such a decision must be to consider adoption for your child, and we thank you. No words could ever express how deeply we appreciate your decision to give us the gift of life we could not achieve on our own. We are physically, emotionally and financially prepared to raise a child in our beautiful and loving home. We pray that you will feel in your heart that we are the right family for your child and appreciate you taking the time to examine out lives. Who We Are: We are best friends and have been happily married for 7 years. Shane was initially drawn to Kim for her beauty, intelligence and outgoing personality. Kim found Shane to be attractive, respectful and athletic. We share a keen sense of humor. We love each other very much and have a faith based home. We are very devoted to one another and strive to always show compassion both within our marriage and outside to others in need. We attend a local church and plan to teach our child Christian tenets and morals, just as we were taught as children. Education is also very important to us and will teach our child the values of hard work and to always try to do his/her best.
Shane is a prominent maintenance operator for a large public corporation. He works 3-4 days a week and has 7 straight days off each month. Kim is a registered nurse for a local hospital and works in the intensive care unit. Her job is very flexible and she is able to make her own schedule so that she only works 3 days a week. Our work schedules allow us to travel often and spend a lot of time during the summer on the lake. Our Interests: We are both avid sports fans. We also enjoy spending time together outdoors doing activities such as boating, fishing and camping. We recently even bought a camper. During football season, we love to go to the games and tailgate with our friends. We frequently have dinner parties in our home. Kim is also skilled in home decorating. Shane is the youngest of 3 children, and has an older brother and sister, who have several children of their own. He has a good relationship with his siblings and his parents, all of whom live in nearby towns. Kim has a younger brother and two older half-siblings, who have several children of their own. Kim is very close with both her immediate and extended family. Her parents and siblings live in Texas and South Carolina. Our Home: We live in a safe, suburban neighborhood in a one-story house that we designed and built. We have a 4-acre yard, so there is lots of room for a swing set! Religion: Christian

Dear Birthmother: 
We have a large supportive family, with numerous nieces and nephews, who are local and excited about a new addition to our family. We have a loving and joyful dog named Dixie, a female German Shepard. She loves children and all the children in our family love her.
Our Family:
Our home has four bedrooms and two and one-half baths. One of the bedrooms has already been turned into a nursery. We have plans to convert an upstairs bonus room into a large playroom. There is a swimming pool in the backyard. We live near schools, churches and medical facilities.
