Todd and Brandy are hopeful adoptive parents from South Carolina waiting to adopt a baby. If you are pregnant and considering adoption for your child, please read their Dear Birthmother letter and profile. Dear Birthmother: The day after we received the news that we should not become pregnant again, Todd came home from work with the cutest little pink stuffed bunny. “Brandy,” he said, we may not be able to make any more babies, but nothing is going to stop us from completing our family with a little Princess!” So here we are, opening our hearts and lives up to you for your consideration of us as adoptive parents. There is no doubt that children are gifts from God and God has led us to adoption. We promise to love and nurture your child and teach her the same morals and values we were raised with. We promise to sing silly songs, go fun places and kiss her boo-boos all better. Your little girl will have two big brothers to love and grow with. We promise to help her find her way in life and help her accomplish her goals through our love, faith and the chance to get a good education. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! Who We Are: We have been happily married for almost 9 years. We have two sons who are excited about becoming older brothers! Eli is 6 and loves sports, including basketball, baseball and swimming. He loves animals and taking pictures with his mom’s camera. Ethen is 5 and very affectionate. He loves trains and babies, and is looking forward to singing lullabies to the new baby. We also have a house full of animals that the boys just love! We have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 bunny rabbits. Todd is employed as an inspector at a local aerospace company. Brandy is primarily a stay-at-home mom, but does also work as a photographer of newborn children, which allows her to set her own schedule so that she can easily combine work and caring for their children. Our Interests: Our main interest is our family and activities with our children. We enjoy getting out of the house and going for walks and having picnics. However, we also do have our own outside interests. Our family has many traditions. Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, we go to a local tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree. Then, at Christmas, we always decorate a gingerbread house. We also take several trips to the mountains every year. We have always enjoyed our summer vacations to the beach, and are excited that we now live close to one. Brandy is one of two children and has a younger brother. Brandy’s parents and her brother all live in the same town just a few hours away. Brandy is close with them and misses seeing them on a regular basis since she and Todd moved to South Carolina. She does remain in close contact with them, along with her maternal grandmother who helped to raise her. Our Home: We live in a family-oriented, suburban area just outside of the downtown area. Our home has four bedrooms, one of which will be the nursery, and three bathrooms. There is a large bonus room that we are turning into a playroom. We have a large fenced-in back yard, and Todd already has plans to build another large, wooden play set, complete with a slide and swings, just like he did at our last home. Our neighborhood has two pools and two docks on the river where the children love to go fishing and crabbing. We are close to beaches, churches, schools and medical facilities. Religion: Christian
